Tech support scams, even as COVID-19 restrictions are being lifted and fewer people are working from home, continue to make the top 10 list in monetary losses reported to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). Among those 60 and older, IC3 recently reported tech support scams to be in the top 5 on the victim and monetary loss lists.
