Land Tech Web Designs is proud to announce Trade Dispatch, a WordPress plugin for lawn care, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades that run a daily route. The free office plugin is on WordPress.org. Hosted shops live at TradeDispatch.app. Trade Dispatch Tech is on Google Play now; the Apple App Store listing is coming soon.

The office stays on the shop’s own WordPress site. Customer names, job notes, and gate codes are not sent to a third-party dispatch SaaS.

The Playground demo is already loaded with sample office jobs and a customer portal login. Use one account at a time (log out to switch): office admin / password, or customer maya / password.

What the free plugin does

Trade Dispatch turns a WordPress site into a small dispatch desk:

  • Customers and property addresses
  • Jobs with status, assignee, gate notes, and hazards
  • Recurring visits
  • A public booking form so a homeowner can request a time (the form does not create a WordPress user)
  • A customer portal after the office confirms the visit
  • Estimates as office records (no payments in the free plugin)
  • Crew and dispatcher roles in addition to Administrator

There are no crew caps and no license check on the free plugin.

Trade Dispatch Pro is a separate site license from Land Tech. It adds field tools the free office plugin does not ship: the mobile API for the phone app, SMS, routing, field quotes, and customer payment processing on the shop’s own Stripe or Square account.

Phone apps: Trade Dispatch Tech

Trade Dispatch Tech is the companion app for technicians on the road. It talks to the shop’s WordPress site (Pro), not to a Land Tech cloud account.

Techs can:

  • Open the day’s assigned jobs
  • Read gate codes, hazards, and the office brief
  • Take before / after / damage photos
  • Mark a job in progress or complete
  • Open the stop in Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze

Sign-in uses the shop’s website (QR or connect page) or shop username plus website password. The app stores an Application Password, not the tech’s normal WordPress password.

Google Play is live now. The Apple App Store listing is coming soon. The iOS app is the same Trade Dispatch Tech product. We will post the App Store link on TradeDispatch.app and here when review is complete.

The app is free to download. There are no in-app purchases. A shop that wants the field app runs Trade Dispatch Pro on their WordPress site.
