This page explains how to delete data associated with the Gear Keeper mobile app (iOS and Android), published by Land Tech Web Designs, Corp.

No developer-hosted account

Gear Keeper does not create a Land Tech login or store your vault on our servers. Your collection lives on your device by default. Optional encrypted backups use your Apple iCloud or Google Drive account — not a Land Tech cloud account.

Because we do not host a user account, there is no “delete my online account” button on our website. Deletion is done in the app (and, if you used sync, in your own Apple/Google storage), as described below.

How to delete all local vault data (recommended)

  1. Open Gear Keeper on your device.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete all local data (or the equivalent wipe control).
  4. Confirm the prompt. This permanently removes instruments, photos, receipts, loans, gig packs, and related vault data stored by the app on that device.

Deleting local vault data does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account or Google Play settings.

How to remove an optional cloud backup

If you used Instrument Pack encrypted cloud sync:

  • In the app: open cloud sync / backup controls and use Remove (or equivalent) to delete the encrypted backup from your iCloud or Google Drive app data.
  • Google Drive: you can also manage app data from your Google Account storage settings.
  • iCloud: manage CloudKit / iCloud storage from Apple device Settings as applicable.

How to uninstall the app

Uninstalling Gear Keeper removes the app and its local storage from that device (subject to normal OS behavior). It does not automatically cancel a subscription or delete an encrypted backup you previously uploaded to your own iCloud / Drive account — remove those separately if needed.

Support email / residual contact data

If you emailed us (for example support or sales) and want that correspondence deleted from our inbox, request deletion by email:

Include enough detail for us to find the messages (email address used, approximate dates). We will delete support correspondence we control. We cannot delete vault data from your device or from Apple/Google because we do not host it.
