News and Updates · October 2026
Most of what we write about here is websites, WordPress plugins, and helping businesses grow online. This post is a little different, and it’s one of the most important things we’ve published.
Today we released The Story Isn’t Over, a free 35-day Bible study for people whose spouse has walked away. It’s live now on thehiddenword.org, the Bible study site I build and write for alongside the work we do at Land Tech Web Designs.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Why this study, and why now
My wife and I have a lot of friends in their late forties and fifties. More of them than you’d think are living through something nobody plans for. After twenty, thirty, sometimes more than thirty years, a spouse has asked for a divorce, been unfaithful, or left for someone else.
The one left behind suddenly has to run a household alone. They’re caring for kids, sometimes young ones and sometimes grown ones, and untangling finances they may never have handled. Through all of it, they’re trying to hold on to their faith. There are so many questions and not nearly enough answers.
I know that road personally. My own marriage ended years ago. I tried reconciliation, and it didn’t work for my family. In time, God answered a prayer I’d prayed for years and brought my wife into my life. She’s someone who prays with me, studies the Bible with me, and worships beside me. I wanted to give our friends, and anyone else walking that valley, something to hold on to.
What’s inside
The study is five weeks of short daily readings, each about ten minutes:
Every day pairs Scripture with practical, compassionate steps, and each week includes discussion questions for small groups and church divorce recovery classes. It’s free, and it always will be.
Faith and the work we do
At Land Tech Web Designs we spend our days building tools that help people: plugins, websites, and apps. Building thehiddenword.org is part of that same calling. It uses the skills God has given us to put encouragement where hurting people can find it, on the phone in their hand at 2 a.m.
If you’re a church, ministry, or nonprofit that wants to reach people online, we’d love to talk with you about it.
Please share it
If someone came to mind while you read this, please send them the link. A quiet “I thought of you” can mean more than you know.
